As the idea of convergence is linked to the concept of the ever expanding online platform, social networking and the idea of Web 2.0, I thought this comic made an amusing satirical comment on the idea of what is 'new' about the internet.

The Oatmeal website istelf offers an RSS feed, emailing and sharing of content on sites such as Twitter and Facebook. This makes the creators commentary have even more layers, because it can be argued he himself is buying into this convergence because it is expected of web content.
